Interview with Myself

Hello, self , thank you for interviewing me.

You're welcome. So why have you made this blog?
Pink Power is my band. I am writing songs for it and I am the singer at the head of it, but I really hope that as soon as I've settled I can form a band soon after.
That's very ambitious.
Thank you. I think it's what I need to do to express myself right now. I want to go back to school once I move and work for a while to be a musician and a writer. I have many years of experience. Mental illness has made school difficult for me to bear with.
How old are you?
21 on January 13th, 2015. The 21st century. On Planet Earth.
Are you worried about going back to school?
No, I'm a very able person. I'm learning more and more day by day to quell the unreachable perfection my ego and fear want me to be. I just have to be strong, listen, follow my heart, and take my time. Also get a new doctor and therapist that will take my insurance and see them regularly.
You seem to have a good head on your shoulders.

What is your vision for Pink Power?
Pink Power is a blog. It will also be the name of a band. It's a band that believes in human rights faught for through peaceful protest. I am a pacifist, until it comes to self-defense. The reason I bring this up is that it's a punk band, and punk is associated with anarchy as it should. However, this is an unreachable ideal, and foolhardy.
Pink Power is everyone being equal and safe. It's a Riot Grrrl band, but for the new generation of riot grrrls that welcome everyone. Basically, it's for people who have feminist ideals. It's really for everyone. When I mean everyone it's for everyone.
I hope when it reaches conservative people's ears, and they see it makes them stupified.
I hope it's a shock for childish millionaires.
I hope it stops the hipster shit in its tracks.
I hope it kills the FCC.
Censorship and Corruption are for losers. They literally lose out on the perfect imperfection.
Everyone's insides are pink. Pink has been for men and women in the past and present. Sex is pink. Love is pink. The world is full of pink power.

Right now there are riots going on with I think the gang members in Baltimore, Maryland and the police. Writing about it makes me feel like I at least have a say in something. There is such anger among young adults, because it's seriously one of the worst occurrences of our time, this string of murders during police arrests. It's by far the worst thing I have ever experienced, and I was pretty jarred by the bomber running away from the police when they found him, a mere young man, a murderer.
Death penalties are probably the biggest waste of conscious human life. It's such a crude use of humanity's idea of "justice." It's pure ego, this irate anger.
But the shock I've felt day after day is just unimaginable. I can't even equate it to anything. I'm not unable to think, I really can't even process all of it.
If it takes this level of chaos to excite the human race into action, maybe there's a reason for the bloodshed. It's seriously a nightmare.
I had to explain something to young adults recently about what it means to wish someone's mortality to be threatened. I listened and only heard this deep feeling of irate anger. Just because you are angery does not give you the right to wish someone dead. No matter what. that's when we tread into the hunted becoming the hunters. It accomplishes nothing, and dialect wise it's juvenile and frankly stupid. It's the way ignorant people talk, an eye for an eye!
Now, understanding that I am not of African decent, I don't appear Trans, no one sees my mental illness, how I respond is just as important. I have an insiders view of Caucasian American culture. Unfortunately, at the present time, I could probably influence those narrow-minded anger and fear machine police more than someone of a racial minority. Everyone's opinion matters, especially when we have the information.
I take issue with white people saying Die Whitey and Cis Scum. And putting fucking hashtags before it. Whatever possesses people to do that , keep that inside, be the bigger person.Don't agitate the bastard no matter what, be fucking strong for god sakes. My god. Some people act like they've had an arm cut off by policemen , because they're Transgender. I understand transgender people's anger towards policemen this first hand. They don't realize that these people they are attacking and demeaning to the point of taking out an insect are at the same level socially as they are. Telling them that they should be squashed and demeaned too is completely missing the point of what the Black Lives Matter movement is about. You are not bringing the movement forward by saying that. You are bringing yourself to their level. It will erase the movement completely. You will be doing a disservice.

If our minds are ruled by destructive emotions, by self-centredness, with little regard for others, we won’t be happy. As social animals we need to work together. With friends around us, we feel secure, happy and our minds are calm. We’re physically well too. When we’re filled with anger, fear and frustration, our minds are upset and our health declines. Therefore, the ultimate source of happiness is warmheartedness.

Human rights is not a major, it's part of every human being's existence obviously. It needs to be everyone's focus. Also, when you hear anyone talk, adolescents are not exempt, except when they don't have every bit of information, that is the country's fault, but really listen to them. Are they being genuinely cruel? Are they not respecting every human life and their need to be supported? Really re-think what you've been hearing, you are not a vehicle for their hate. You are completely free and you can make your own decisions. Are they digging you and everyone around them into a hole? Dig yourself a tunnel out of there.
